# Veridex AI

## What we do

Veridex AI helps Shopify brands understand whether AI assistants select their products or another brand. Before the AI Shopping Readiness Report runs, the merchant reviews the market, category and 10 shopper questions prepared from the live Shopify catalogue. The report shows which brand an AI assistant picked for one confirmed question, if it named one at all, with the supporting excerpt when available. Paid monitoring then tracks the confirmed questions weekly and includes post-change checks after meaningful changes. Growth and Scale add named lost-recommendation evidence and Product recommendation checks for selected products. We grade observed answers, readiness and data quality; we do not submit product feeds to AI providers on a merchant's behalf.

- **AI Shopping Readiness scorecards**: Per-surface readiness scores for ChatGPT shopping and Google AI shopping (0-100 each), grading crawler access (OAI-SearchBot, Google-Extended), server-rendered product facts, product-field completeness, Product + merchant-listing structured data, reviews, and merchant trust
- **Crawler fetchability**: Synthetic probe that fetches sample product pages as the main AI crawlers and flags pages that are blocked (403/429/WAF), client-side-rendered, or missing product facts in the served HTML
- **Weekly AI visibility monitoring**: Paid plans measure the percentage of returned answers that mention the brand across all four assistants. Growth and Scale add named lost-recommendation evidence by shopper question. Subscribers can customise the recurring set up to 20 active queries. Editing it starts a fresh measurement baseline
- **Lost recommendations** (Growth and Scale): Show which tracked shopper questions selected another brand, the observed answer evidence and the next product or trust signal worth checking
- **Product recommendation checks** (Growth and Scale): Choose one saved shopper question and 1–3 active products, then record what each returned answer says about those products across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity. The check reads provider API text. An exact excerpt is shown only when an answer names a checked product. Growth includes 2 checks and Scale includes 4 in a rolling 30-day window, with a six-hour cooldown between checks. These checks do not reproduce consumer shopping cards or measure ranking, traffic or sales
- **Post-change checks**: Paid plans include a limited number of monthly reruns so merchants can observe visibility again after a meaningful change
- **Product and catalogue evidence**: Show released supporting checks across sampled product pages, Shopify data, schema, feeds, official profiles, citations and review signals where the plan and available evidence allow
- **Shopify theme blocks and drafts**: Organization and FAQPage blocks inside the Shopify theme editor, with eligible paid plans adding reviewed values or schema drafts that the merchant chooses to install
